Ubiquitous intelligence warrants decision making capability to devices And this capability is engrained in the sensor hub through rule execution capability with a facility to change rules in run time.

Ubiquitous intelligence warrants decision making capability to devices. Rule execution capability with facility to change rules in run time is to be instilled in a process node. Webyfy has created Intelligent Sensor / Actuator Processor and Interconnector (PHYSC) capable of intelligently collating sensors data and controlling actuators.

Ubiquitous intelligence, means systems have the intelligence to take decisions to execute or not tasks based on rules. They communicate intelligently with devices above/below in hierarchy.

End of line devices are normally data collation and actuator management devises. At times, the sensors or the actuators are made intelligent to execute tasks. However, cost consideration can be a deterrent in making expensive sensors or actuators.

PHYSC is the device which connects sensors to the main processing system. They are also used for connecting the actuators. These devices have rules embedded to gather data intelligently for transmission to required locations. Rules may be defined for controlling sensing periodicity, varying the periodicity or taking decisions to record readings depending on other sensor values, transmission of values based on pattern of sensed values etc.

Webyfy has created an Intelligent Sensor / Actuator Processor and Interconnector (PHYSC) capable of collating sensors data and controlling actuators. This can have rules embedded and these rules can be changed in real time during operation. PHYSC is a device designed to execute the concept of ubiquitous intelligence. The device can have a variety of inputs like Analog. ON/OFF, digital, serial, I2C, SPI, etc and outputs like PWM, Serial, Analog, Digital, ON/OFF etc. It can also communicate using USB, RS232, etc. It can communicate with suitable adaptors using Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

PHYSC can be embedded with large quantum of rules. This helps in managing inputs and outputs without escalation and also communicates the actions for verification and reporting - making the devices intelligent.
