IOT requires multitudes of devices to be interconnected and communicate amongst them. Multiple technologies may be used to send data across. Webyfy has developed data interconnection hardware with embedded software for seamless data communication amongst devices. BLE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, LOWAN etc can be interconnected.

There are a few technologies with which data can be transferred wirelessly from a system to another. Of which two methodologies are in common use. They are BLE (Bluetooth low energy and Wi-Fi). LoRa technology for LOWAN is also gaining popularity. BLE and LoRa is referred so due to its low energy requirement and Wi-Fi due to its universality.

With the advent of BLE Mesh, it has become an accepted form of data communication for wireless sensor modules. Further the low energy requirement of BLE enables the modules run for months if not years with a small cell. LoRa technology is also gaining acceptability for LOWAN.

Wi-Fi is the universal means of communication but the energy requirement is significantly more than BLE. Wi-Fi is the easiest means to connect with the internet.

BLE beacons are used to transmit identification of an asset. They need to be reprogrammed for different duty cycles from a remote location. This calls for a means to transfer data from a Wi-Fi network to a BLE network.

Webyfy has developed a methodology to establish data exchange amongst various forms like BLE, Lora, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, CAN and other wired communication protocols. These modules can be integrated with unlimited number of modules.
